Otaku Volunteers Wanted

WANTED: Enthusiastic volunteers crazy about anime enough that they want to spread it to the whole world and don't mind spending pain-staking hours making it all happen.

Still interested? Pick up an application form at the office during office hours or during a screening.

Activity Cards

Activity cards for the 2006-2007 academic year are now available! The card costs 10$. Applications will be accepted starting from the first screening of the year (September 2nd).

Please bring a photo ID (ie: student ID, driver's license, medicare, etc.) as well as the activity card fee (10$) when submitting an application! If you have a loyalty card from last year, bring that along too! :)

Once the application has been processed, an activity card number will be issued and items can be borrowed when the libraries are open during office hours.

Benefits:
* access to VHS (fansub and commercial), CD, DVD, manga, and magazine lending libraries,
* special discounts on certain items at participating stores,
* a nice piece of plastic with an even nicer picture on it. :)

Members who sign up for an activity card before or during the third screening (October 7th, 2006) will receive a free Otaku Loyalty kit.

Otaku Loyalty Card

Prove your Otakuness! For our loyal, die-hard screening audience who come out every time we have a screening, the loyalty card program is back again this year!

Any audience member can obtain an Otaku Loyalty card, which can be stamped once per screening at the end of any anime title.

If the card is stamped at least 16 times during the same academic year, the cardholder will be eligible to gain extended access to the lending libraries upon purchase of an activity card the following academic year OR be entered into a draw held at the end of the year for prizes.

The Otaku Loyalty card will be only issued during the first few screenings. Limited time offer! While supplies last!

NOTE: Loyalty cards from the past year can be used to enter a raffle OR increase lending library borrowing capacity. The raffle will be announced in the coming weeks.

NOTE: If being used to extend lending library borrowing capacity, the card MUST be submitted when the activity card application is submitted. A reminder that loyalty cards are NOT transferrable. The name on the loyalty card must match the name on the application.
