Yuck, neither.
And I'm a guy who enjoyed series like Blue Drop and all of the Maria-sama ga Miteru. Even though those series are considered be yuri, there's nothing much to it really.
If a series has a good storyline and good characters and it happens that the main characters are of the same sex, there's no biggie. However, if it's just gratuitous fan service and "Two girls/guys in a relationship just to make all fangirls/fanboys go all "ahhhh~! kawaiii~!~!!1oneone!!" or some similar stupid stuff....I prefer investing my time in something more worthwhile.
