Like on saturday or sunday morning-ish, so most people are sure to be there. I know that some people just skip friday, and some have to leave early on sunday. So I guess saturday would be the best for a meetup

I personally think that saturday would make sense, since I'm pretty sure that everyone will be there that day.

How about meeting around the bottom of the main stairs (The ones on the 2nd floor, same floor as the dealer room) around 3pm? Our cosplays are so colorful they'll be difficult to miss, haha.

Hi guys,

Hope you had a great con. I know I did, was lots of fun. I was the tall Konoha most of you probably met there. Here are my impressions on everything KagePro related that happened at the Otakuthon this weekend.

When I cosplayed as Konoha this weekend, I expected KagePro to be a pretty underground thing, and not that much other fans and cosplayers. I knew the anime had been somewhat popular, but I didn't think there would be people out there who watched the MVs, and read the manga and the LN. My friends watched the anime, but I have been unable to get them to look at anything else KagePro. I seriously expected no one else to even know about KagePro.

So you probably understand my surprise and my excitement when Saturday morning, after registering, I look at the activities for the day, and there's a KagePro panel at 11! Cool, so at 10 I wanted to go to the dealer's room, look at stuff for 30 to 45 minutes, then go to the panel immediately afterwards, which I do. I tried brining my other "Mekakushi-Dan" friends along, but only one came. (I'm going pretty much into details, am I? I'm note done yet...)

On my way there, I see another Konoha, 10 to 12 inches smaller than I am, that doesn't notice me and that I do not see for the rest of the con.

So I get to the panel, and during the panel, I'm suprised to see that people not only watched the anime, but are talking about the manga and the LNs and the MVs, and some know them even more than I do (and I watched those MVs a lot). I also see some familiar and new opinions. One thing I remember clearly was the panelists talking about how the series was about moving on with life, and I raise my hand to talk about the ending of the anime that clearly goes against this, even going as far as breaking the rules of the daze. What do I hear immediately afterwards? Exactly that.

Anyway, we got to pose for a few cool group photos, some of which I am still looking for (I've been browsing Facebook a lot for them). I also got some photos with different Ene (they were quite a few of them), and I remember a pretty energetic one in the evening that came running torwards me and talked about how she was happy to see so many KagePro cosplayers this year and how KonoEne is her favorite OTP (hehe), needless to say that put a large smile on my face after a pretty exhausting day.

Outside of the people at the panel, there were as I mentionned before, a few Ene, a few Ayano, and some Kido as well. I haven't seen anyone cosplay as either Mary, Momo or Hibiya, nor any of the side characters (as anyone would expect). One cosplay I have seen only once (and it was one of my friends) was Shintaro. I thought Shintaro would be the most popular amongst male KagePro fans, but seeming not.

The next day I cosplayed as Hideyoshi from Tokyo Ghoul, but that completely fell unnoticed. Even the Kanekis didn't get much attention, except from other Kanekis.

TL;DR: It was cool meeting with so much more KagePro fans than I expected. Thanks for the weekend of fun, I hope to talk with some of you again.

Me and my bf were doing Kido and Kano, no one came to us tho...

I was so pissed I didn't make it to the KagePro panel! I didn't notice it at first read, at it was too late when I finally saw it ><

But I met a few of you and that's what matters, even if I didn't met the whole group! I saw a few other Kido (They were waaay better than me, orz), one Shuya and Ayano that came to me to say hi, and one Ene. And funny thing, I did see the small Konoha that you mention, I followed them to take a picture together, but they didn't notice me and disappeared in the crowd, never saw them again o_o

It was still quite an underground thing, haha. I got many, many comments like: "Woah, nice cosplay! From what anime is it? … Never heard of it." It was a bit sad
